Your role
As our Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist (m/f/d), you will be the hands-on engine driving Kipu's growth, focused on securing the brilliant minds who will build the next generation of quantum computing. We are seeking someone driven, hungry to learn, and deeply passionate about compelling engagement to attract top technical talent in a competitive market.
This is a high-potential development role, offering you immediate and foundational exposure to strategic HR initiatives, employee development, and retention from day one. Next to recruiting, you will be mentored to gain a holistic view of the People function and contribute to its future strategy.
Your profile
We are looking for a high-potential individual who is ready to dedicate themselves to learning and achieving ambitious goals.
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Communications, Psychology, or Natural Sciences) or equivalent vocational training/early career experience.
- First professional experience in recruitment, sales, or business development.
- You are intensely driven, resilient, and possess a "hunter" mentality. You view communication as a function of enthusiasm and persistence and are eager to pick up the phone and enthusiastically present our vision.
- A genuine interest in deep tech, software development, or natural sciences is highly desirable; you must be comfortable engaging deeply with highly specialized technical profiles.
- You possess strong organizational ability and extreme attention to detail, to manage high-volume pipelines and ensure data accuracy.
- You are hands-on, ready to adapt quickly, and willing to take on tasks outside your immediate scope to support a rapidly scaling venture.
- Excellent command of both German and English (written and spoken) is required to successfully engage with our international team and talent pool.

Kipu Quantum is a German startup focused on quantum computing, with offices in Karlsruhe and Berlin. We specialize in developing quantum algorithms tailored for specific applications and hardware. Our solutions help various industries, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, logistics, and finance, to tackle complex problems using existing quantum hardware. We aim to make practical quantum computing accessible by significantly reducing the time needed to achieve quantum advantage for real-world applications.
In December 2023, Kipu Quantum secured €10.5 million in seed funding, led by HV Capital and DTCF (DeepTech & Climate Fonds), with participation from Entrada Ventures, Quantonation, and First Momentum Ventures. This funding will support the development of our hardware-specific quantum algorithms and accelerate the commercialization of our quantum solutions.
